Work on the Frostforge guided campaign continues.

The Stockades chapter has now been completed and fully connected to the main dungeon progression. Players can follow the story from the aftermath of the Deadmines into Stormwind, investigate SI:7, uncover what remains of the Defias Brotherhood, and confront Bazil Thredd inside the Stockades.

This chapter marks the end of the Defias arc and brings players to level 26.

New Chapter: Shadowfang Keep

Development has now started on the next campaign chapter: Shadowfang Keep.

This chapter will take players north into Silverpine Forest, where the story shifts from rebellion and politics to curses, forbidden magic, and the Worgen. Players will learn how Archmage Arugal’s desperate magic unleashed a threat that even its creator could not control.

The Shadowfang Keep chapter will be shorter and more focused than the Defias arc, serving as a dark transition into the next stage of the Classic Azeroth campaign.

Technical Progress

Several backend improvements were also made:

• The Frostforge Guide has been expanded with teleport support for upcoming dungeons.
• Playerbot group teleporting now supports dungeons up to Scarlet Monastery.
• Dungeon reward handling has been cleaned up to better support class-based reward packs.
• Campaign progression has been standardized so future chapters can be added faster.
• The server build completed successfully after the latest custom script updates.

These changes make it easier to add multiple upcoming dungeon chapters without rebuilding the server for every individual dungeon.

What’s Next

The next development focus is building the campaign content from Shadowfang Keep through Scarlet Monastery. This includes new story quests, lore NPCs, dungeon objectives, and class-based reward packs.

Frostforge is steadily becoming what it was designed to be: a guided Classic Azeroth campaign where every dungeon feels like a chapter in the world’s story.
